Texas High School Basketball - Leggett ripped by Slocum

(December 2, 2011: Leggett, TX 77350) The Slocum Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Leggett Pirates to 29 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankston for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Slocum will confront a Indians team coming off a 69-26 non-league win over Oakwood (Oakwood, TX). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.

The Pirates (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Hull-Daisetta was crushed by West Hardin (Saratoga, TX), 37-32, in a non-league bout.
