(August 26, 2011: Johns Creek, GA 30022) The Rome Wolves football team (Rome, GA), was beaten 38-17 in Friday's league challenge with the host Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA)
The Gladiators (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs come into the AAAA Region 7 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Sequoyah was beaten by Creekview (Canton, GA), 24-14, in a league challenge.
The Wolves now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cass for a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, September 2. Rome will meet a Colonels team coming off a 39-26 league loss to Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-1.
