(January 3, 2012: Prescott, AZ 86301) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ) and the visiting Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), saw Prescott's basketball squad knock off Mingus by a score of 61-48.

With the victory, Prescott improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Badgers host Red Rock (Sedona, AZ) to battle the Scorpions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Red Rock lost 81-53 in their recent non-league contest against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)

The Marauders (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ). The Bears come into the II Section II contest with a 5-6 record.
