California High School Basketball - Jordan holds off Cabrillo

(January 27, 2012: Long Beach, CA 90810) Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), 64-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jordan improves its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Millikan (Long Beach, CA) to battle the Rams in a Moore challenge on Monday, January 30. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-18. Millikan lost 86-65 in their recent league challenge against Compton (Compton, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars battle the Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) in a Moore challenge, on Monday, January 30. Cabrillo will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 5-16 record after their 65-55 league win over Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA).
