(February 3, 2012: Austin, TX 78737) The Summit Christian Academy Eagles basketball team (Cedar Park, TX), was overwhelmed 62-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Austin Waldorf Roadrunners (Austin, TX)

The Roadrunners now possess a 22-10 record. They play next when they host Hill Country Christian for a TAPPS 2A District 5 battle on Tuesday, February 7. Austin Waldorf will battle a Knights team coming off a 71-44 league win over Bracken Christian (Bulverde, TX). The Knights record now stands at 22-3.

The Eagles (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of the Hills (Kerrville, TX). The Hawks come into the TAPPS 2A District 5 battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of the Hills triumphed over Holy Trinity Catholic (Temple, TX), 55-31, in a league battle.
