(September 30, 2011: Brodheadsville, PA 18322) The Pleasant Valley Bears football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders to 14 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pocono Mountain West for a Mountain Valley battle on Friday, October 7. Pleasant Valley will play a Panthers squad coming off a 28-0 league loss to East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
