Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Stamford sneaks past Greenwich
(February 11, 2012: Stamford, CT 06902) Fans at Saturday's league game between the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) and the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), observed Stamford's ice hockey squad get by Greenwich by a tally of 3-2.
In their next game, the Black Knights battle the Staples/Weston/Shelton Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a FCIAC game, on Wednesday, February 15. Stamford will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Wreckers come into the game with a 6-9 record after their 4-0 league loss to Wilton (Wilton, CT).
With the defeat, Greenwich moves to 3-14 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Trinity Catholic (Stamford, CT) to battle the Crusaders in a FCIAC game on Wednesday, February 15.
