(December 19, 2011: Longview, TX 75606) Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) and the visiting New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX), saw Longview's basketball squad overcome New Diana by a score of 52-44.

With the victory, Longview improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX) to play the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Liberty-Eylau won 61-22 in their recent non-league challenge against God's Academy (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Friday, December 30. New Diana will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record.
