California High School Basketball - Yosemite topples Sierra

(January 17, 2012: Oakhurst, CA 93644) In Tuesday's league outing, the Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA), by a count of 80-66.

The Badgers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty (Madera, CA). The Hawks go into the North Sequoia outing with a 6-6 record.

The Chieftains now hold a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Kerman for a North Sequoia outing on Friday, January 20. Sierra will face a Lions team coming off a 75-40 league loss to Washington Union (Fresno, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.
