Nevada High School Basketball - Mojave falls to Cimarron-Memorial
(February 9, 2010: North Las Vegas, NV 89031) The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Mojave Rattlers to 65 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shadow Ridge for a Sunset - Northwest contest on Thursday, February 11. Cimarron-Memorial will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 74-65 league win over Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-12.
The Rattlers (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV). The Desert Shields enter the Sunset - Northwest contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Cheyenne ran past Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV), 70-54, in a league contest.
