Texas High School Basketball - Groom ripped by Canadian

(December 9, 2011: Canadian, TX 79014) The Canadian Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Groom Tigers to 27 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arbor Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Canadian will meet a Lions team coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Adrian (Adrian, TX). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Adrian was routed by Highland Park (Amarillo, TX), 71-54, in a non-league contest.
