California High School Basketball - Redding Adventist overwhelmed by Providence
(February 1, 2011: Orland, CA 95963) The Providence Lions basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Redding Adventist Lumberjacks to 24 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a Pioneer - Valley contest on Friday, February 4. Providence will meet a Eagles team coming off a 43-28 league win over Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
The Lumberjacks (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Champion Christian (Chico, CA). The Mustangs come into the Pioneer - Valley contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Champion Christian overwhelmed Elk Creek (Elk Creek, CA), 39-21, in a league bout.
