Texas High School Basketball - Wakeland thwarts Lewisville
(November 19, 2011: Frisco, TX 75034) The Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) basketball felled the visiting Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX), 45-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Princeton went down by Wylie (Wylie, TX), 35-34, in a non-league test.
The Farmers now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeSoto for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 22. Lewisville will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 71-60 non-league win over Plano East (Plano, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
