Pennsylvania High School Football - Sun Valley crushed by Chester

(September 5, 2008: Aston, PA 19014) In Friday's non-league game, the Chester Clippers (Chester, PA) football team smashed the host Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), by a score of 45-0.

The Clippers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Whippets come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Downingtown West overwhelmed Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA), 41-7, in a non-league game.

The Vanguards now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academy Park for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Sun Valley will battle a Knights team coming off a 33-14 non-league win over Kennett (Kennett Square, PA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
