Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Mountain crushes Mesa

(January 10, 2012: Scottsdale, AZ 85259) Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mesa Jackrabbits (Mesa, AZ), 65-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Wolves travel to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Rattlers in a I Section III bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 0-15. North Canyon lost 84-51 in their recent league bout against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Jackrabbits encounter the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a I Section III bout, on Thursday, January 12. Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Toros go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 62-30 non-league win over Skyline (Mesa, AZ).
