(September 7, 2007: Blakely, GA 39823) In Friday's non-league challenge, the Early County Bobcats (Blakely, GA) football team were victorious over the visiting Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA), by a score of 36-17.

The Bobcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cook (Adel, GA). The Hornets come into the 1-AA challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Cook knocked off Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 43-19, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 14. Miller County will meet a Raiders team coming off a 34-0 non-league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
