(October 11, 2011: Silver Spring, MD 20901) The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) and the host Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD), saw Northwood's volleyball squad beat Blair by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Gladiators host Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Gaithersburg lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD)
The Blazers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rockville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. Blair will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.
