Texas High School Basketball - Brackenridge holds off Tivy

(November 25, 2011: Kerrville, TX 78028) Brackenridge Eagles (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX), 43-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brackenridge upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Incarnate Word won 42-24 in their recent non-league bout against Jay (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Antlers play the Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Tivy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Billies go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 57-32 non-league win over Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX).
