Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View edges Mountain Pointe

(February 27, 2010: Mesa, AZ 85213) The Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 56-53 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Toros (25-4) will now prepare for their test against Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Champions go into the non-league test with a 25-3 record. In their last test, Chavez got by Basha (Chandler, AZ), 65-56, in a non-league test.

The Pride now own a 22-8 record.
