(April 14, 2009: Belle Glade, FL 33430) Glades Day Gators (Belle Glade, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Clewiston Tigers (Clewiston, FL), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Gators now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Moore Haven for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 15. Glades Day will face a Terriers squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Neumann (Naples, FL). The Terriers record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Clewiston falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL) to face the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 16. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lake Placid lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL)
