Texas High School Basketball - South Houston can't hold off La Porte

(January 25, 2008: South Houston, TX 77587) The La Porte Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host South Houston Trojans to 43 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 21-9 record. They play next when they host North Shore for a 5A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 29. La Porte will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 51-50 league loss to Deer Park (Deer Park, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-13.
