(December 6, 2011: Ben Wheeler, TX 75754) The Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Mt. Vernon Tigers (Mt. Vernon, TX), 50-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Whitehouse got by Grace Community (Tyler, TX), 49-45, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millsap for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. Mt. Vernon will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-46 non-league win over Dublin (Dublin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
