Pennsylvania High School Football - Central Tech defeats Franklin

(September 3, 2011: Erie, PA 16508) In Saturday's non-league match, the host Central Tech Falcons football squad scored a good 30-14 victory over the Franklin Knights.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 AAA match, on Friday, September 9. Central Tech will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Ramblers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 25-20 non-league loss to McDowell (Erie, PA).

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Rockets enter the District 10 Region 5 AAA match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Slippery Rock ran past Wilmington Area (New Wilmington, PA), 50-0, in a non-league match.
