Arizona High School Basketball - Central falls to Hayden

(January 13, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85292) The Hayden Falcons basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Central Bobcats to 39 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chavez for a I Section I contest on Tuesday, January 17. Hayden will confront a Champions team coming off a 58-53 non-league loss to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 17-3.

The Bobcats (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Mesquite was defeated by Dobson (Mesa, AZ), 65-57, in a league contest.
