North Carolina High School Volleyball - Rose routed by Apex

(October 8, 2011: Apex, NC 27502) The Rose Rampants volleyball team (Greenville, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC)

The Cougars (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fuquay-Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals come into the 4A Tri-Nine battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Fuquay-Varina lost by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Rampants clash with the New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) in a 4A Mideastern battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Rose will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC).
