North Carolina High School Basketball - First Flight ripped by Hertford County

(January 24, 2012: Ahoskie, NC 27910) In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Hertford County Bears basketball squad scored a big 69-29 victory over the First Flight Night Hawks.

With the victory, Hertford County improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Bears host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to battle the Eagles in a 3A/2A Northeastern Coastal challenge on Friday, January 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Northeastern lost 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Bertie (Windsor, NC)

Next up, the Night Hawks battle the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a 3A/2A Northeastern Coastal challenge, on Friday, February 3. First Flight will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
