California High School Softball - Norco bounces JW North

(April 21, 2011: Norco, CA 92860) Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting JW North Huskies (Riverside, CA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Ayala for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. Norco will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to South Hills (West Covina, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, JW North falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Corona (Corona, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Big VIII challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 11-11. Corona lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Poly (Riverside, CA)
