Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Phelps can't hold off Perkiomen
(January 18, 2012: Pennsburg, PA 18073) The Perkiomen Panthers basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Phelps Lions to 81 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Collegium Charter for a Tri-County contest on Thursday, January 19. Perkiomen will meet a Cougar team coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Renaissance Academy-Edison Charter (Phoenixville, PA). The Cougar record now stands at 13-4.
The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Beginnings Academy (Chester, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 1-6 record.
