The Tigers now sport a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to McNeil for a 5A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Stony Point will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 79-39 non-league win over McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 15-7.

The Pirates (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Smithville (Smithville, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Smithville beat Del Valle (Del Valle, TX), 51-21, in a non-league contest.
