Texas High School Basketball - Midland holds off Spring

(November 17, 2011: Midland, TX 79701) Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Spring Lions (Spring, TX), 50-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Midland upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Cedar Ridge won 67-26 in their recent non-league bout against Reagan (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 17. Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 58-47 non-league win over Stony Point (Round Rock, TX).
