(September 28, 2007: Miami, FL 33056) The Washington Tornadoes football squad scored 24 points and restricted the host Carol City Chiefs to 21 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Friday.

The Tornadoes now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Miami for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 4. Washington will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 16-14 non-league win over Edison (Miami, FL). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Chiefs play the Dr. Krop Lightning (Miami, FL) in a 6A District 12 battle, on Saturday, October 6. Carol City will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Lightning enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 27-7 non-league win over American (Hialeah, FL).
