Texas High School Basketball - Mansfield Summit trounces Granbury

(January 20, 2012: Granbury, TX 76048) The Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) basketball crushed the host Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), 56-33 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (25-3) will now prepare for their test against Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Elks go into the 4A Region I District 7 test with a 16-11 record. In their last test, Burleson was trounced by Crowley (Crowley, TX), 34-33, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 20-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cleburne for a 4A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, January 24. Granbury will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 68-29 league loss to Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-18.
