(October 11, 2011: Minnetonka, MN 55305) The Hopkins Royals volleyball team (Minnetonka, MN), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN)

The Skippers (20-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans enter the Lake challenge with a 14-7 record.

Next, the Royals encounter the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a Lake challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Hopkins will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
