Texas High School Basketball - Knippa trounces Utopia

(January 10, 2012: Utopia, TX 78884) The Knippa Crushers basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Utopia Buffaloes to 23 in the Crushers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crushers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leakey for a 1A-2 Region IV District 31 contest on Friday, January 13.

The Buffaloes (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX). The Panthers enter the 1A-2 Region IV District 31 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Nueces Canyon trounced Comstock (Comstock, TX), 86-24, in a league contest.
