(September 3, 2011: Reno, NV 89511) The Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID) football edged the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 40-34 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) in a 4A Great Basin - West bout, on Friday, September 9. Minico will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 21-20 non-league loss to Century (Pocatello, ID).
The Grizzlies (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Reno (Reno, NV). The Huskies enter the Northern 4A bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Reno nudged Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 31-27, in a league bout.
