Oregon High School Basketball - Pendleton holds off Hood River Valley

(February 3, 2012: Hood River, OR 97031) Pendleton Buckaroos (Pendleton, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR), 37-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Pendleton upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to Hermiston (Hermiston, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Columbia River bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Hermiston won 48-39 in their recent league bout against The Dalles-Wahtonka (The Dalles, OR)

Next up, the Eagles play the The Dalles-Wahtonka Indians-Eagles (The Dalles, OR) in a 5A Columbia River bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Hood River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Indians-Eagles go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 48-39 league loss to Hermiston (Hermiston, OR).
