Texas High School Basketball - Lake Country Christian can't hold off Argyle
(December 29, 2011: Argyle, TX 76226) The Argyle Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Lake Country Christian Eagles to 39 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lovejoy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Argyle will meet a Leopards team coming off a 53-25 non-league loss to Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 6-12.
The Eagles (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Saginaw was nudged by Crandall (Crandall, TX), 49-43, in a non-league contest.
