(December 27, 2011: Phoenix, AZ 85021) The Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ) basketball knocked off the host Westwind Prep Academy Warriors (Phoenix, AZ), 44-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Flames (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Camelback was beaten by St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ), 68-10, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 0-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boulder Creek for a I Section III test on Tuesday, January 10. Westwind Prep Academy will clash with a Jaguar squad coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Jaguar record now stands at 11-4.
