Hawaii High School Basketball - Moanalua nudges Kaiser
(January 18, 2012: Honolulu, HI 96818) Moanalua Menehunes (Honolulu, HI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Kaiser Cougars (Honolulu, HI), 44-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Moanalua upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Menehunes travel to McKinley (Honolulu, HI) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-3. McKinley won 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against Kalani (Honolulu, HI)
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Kaiser will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
