(February 2, 2012: Eldon, MO 65026) The Eldon Mustangs (Eldon, MO) basketball crushed the visiting St. Elizabeth Hornets (St. Elizabeth, MO), 50-24 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Warsaw (Warsaw, MO). The Wildcats go into the Tri-County - Southwest test with a 2-4 record.

The Hornets now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plato for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. St. Elizabeth will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 44-39 league loss to Richland (Richland, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
