(February 8, 2012: San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675) Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles (San Juan Capistrano, CA) and the visiting Southlands Christian Eagles (Walnut, CA), saw Capistrano Valley Christian's basketball squad trounce Southlands Christian by a count of 61-23.

With the victory, Capistrano Valley Christian advances its record to 20-6 on the season.

The Eagles now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Padre Pio Academy for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Southlands Christian will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 76-52 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Wildomar, CA). The Rebels record now stands at 18-7.
