Texas High School Basketball - Prosper ripped by Lovejoy
(January 6, 2012: Prosper, TX 75078) The Lovejoy Leopards basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Prosper Eagles to 33 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.
The Leopards now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmersville for a 3A Region II District 11 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lovejoy will confront a Farmers team coming off a 52-43 league win over Community (Nevada, TX). The Farmers record now stands at 13-8.
The Eagles (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Lone Star was routed by Princeton (Princeton, TX), 40-38, in a league contest.
