South Carolina High School Basketball - Mid-Carolina overwhelmed by Emerald

(February 3, 2012: Greenwood, SC 29646) The Mid-Carolina Rebels basketball team (Prosperity, SC), was overwhelmed 76-49 in Friday's league battle with the host Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC)

The Vikings now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Newberry for a AA Region II battle on Tuesday, February 7. Emerald will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-62 league loss to Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-3.

The Rebels (4-15) will now prepare for their battle against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Wolverines come into the AA Region II battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Woodruff was overwhelmed by Saluda (Saluda, SC), 67-60, in a league battle.
