With the win, Washington improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles host Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Western Valley AAA test on Friday, October 12. The Hilltoppers go into the test with a record of 1-4. Glass lost 27-0 in their recent non-league test against Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA)

With the loss, Franklin County moves to 2-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Fleming (Roanoke, VA) to confront the Colonels in a Western Valley AAA test on Friday, October 12. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 3-2. Fleming won 42-7 in their recent non-league test against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)
