Washington High School Football - Sammamish sneaks past Lake Washington
(September 28, 2007: Kirkland, WA 98033) The Sammamish Totems (Bellevue, WA) football edged the host Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA), 37-34 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Totems face the Newport Knights (Bellevue, WA) in a 3A KingCo bout, on Friday, October 5. Sammamish will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 38-0 league win over Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA).
The Kangaroos (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Wolves enter the 4A KingCo bout with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Eastlake nudged Garfield (Seattle, WA), 45-7, in a league bout.
