Texas High School Basketball - Princeton prevails Farmersville
(January 13, 2012: Farmersville, TX 75442) Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX), 55-38 in a league bout.
With the win, Princeton upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX) to play the Leopards in a 3A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 10-16. Lovejoy lost 44-41 in their recent league bout against Lone Star (Frisco, TX)
Next up, the Farmers play the Prosper Eagles (Prosper, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Farmersville will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 60-29 league win over Community (Nevada, TX).
