New York High School Basketball - Bishop Timon-St. Jude thwarts St. Francis Prep
(February 7, 2012: Buffalo, NY 14220) The Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers (Buffalo, NY) basketball felled the visiting St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY), 62-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (14-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (Athol Springs, NY). The Red Raiders go into the Monsignor Martin test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, St. Francis went down by St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY), 67-50, in a league test.
The Terriers now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ the King for a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test on Tuesday, February 7. St. Francis Prep will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 68-52 league win over Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Royals record now stands at 13-6.
