Ohio High School Basketball - Northland prevails Marion-Franklin

(February 20, 2010: Columbus, OH 43207) Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marion-Franklin Red Devils (Columbus, OH), 65-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northland upgrades its record to 19-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Marysville (Marysville, OH) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Friday, February 26. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Marysville won 58-36 in their recent non-league bout against Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 27. Marion-Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Pacers go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 30-26 non-league win over St. Charles (Columbus, OH).
