Oregon High School Basketball - Central Catholic holds off West Linn
(January 10, 2012: Portland, OR 97214) Central Catholic Rams (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting West Linn Lions (West Linn, OR), 80-76 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central Catholic upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Jesuit (Portland, OR) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Jesuit won 63-48 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR)
Next up, the Lions play the Lakeridge Pacers (Lake Oswego, OR) in a 6A Three Rivers bout, on Friday, January 13. West Linn will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Pacers go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 63-48 non-league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR).
