Game Story

California High School Basketball - Oak Ridge overwhelms Ponderosa

(January 27, 2012: Shingle Springs, CA 95682) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) and the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), saw Oak Ridge's basketball squad crush Ponderosa by a margin of 62-40.

The Trojans (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles go into the Delta River test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, Pleasant Grove was trounced by Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 74-57, in a league test.

The Bruins now own a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jesuit for a Delta River test on Wednesday, February 1. Ponderosa will clash with a Marauders squad coming off a 67-44 league win over Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 18-4.
